Mon. Mar 2nd - CelticFest Kick-off!!! “Breakfast with the Irish” join us for breakfast and help to “Sash the 2009 Grand Marshal” at Black River Café, 213 Huron Ave, Port Huron- Live Radio Show 6-10am, 1380 WPHM - WIN TICKETS to CelticFest Events.

Fri. Mar 6th - “Betty Kearns Little Black Dress” Cocktail Party, 6-10 pm- includes appetizers, entertainment, & door prizes. Cash bar, Port Huron Golf Club, 4101 Fairway Dr. Port Huron. Wed Mar 11th - “Irish Tea in honor of the Sisters of Mercy” St. Joseph Mercy Hospital's “Baggott Street Café”, 2601 Electric Ave, Port Huron. To benefit Peoples Clinic - sponsored by The Daughters of Isabella of Emmett & Marine City. 2:30-5:30 p.m. - $10.00, tickets available at the Irish Rose, St Joseph Mercy Hospital gift shop or from a member of the Daughters of Isabella.

March 13th - St. Paddy's Parade Party - Get ready to enjoy the Parade and come out to honor the 2009 St. Patrick's Parade Grand Marshal. 7:00 p.m. At The Port Huron Yacht Club, 212 Quay St. Tickets $12.50 and available at the door. Entertainment by Celtic Cross and the Strathroy Legion Pipe Band. Public welcome.

Sat. March 14th - St. Patrick's Parade - Led by the famous Strathroy Legion Pipe Band. 12 Noon. Starting at Pine Grove Park and continuing through downtown. Shop, Dine, and Celebrate in Historic Downtown Port Huron. Sponsored by the Irish-American Club of St. Clair County.

Sat. Mar 14th - Leprechaun Contest - Best Leprechaun in the parade, $100.00 prize - (all ages) Sponsored by The Irish Rose. Must have picture taken in front of the store during the parade.

March 14th - "Pubcrawl" - Ride the Trolleys to over a dozen downtown pubs and restaurants: Active Lounge, Brass Rail, Figaro's, Fogcutter, Legendz, Military Street Music Cafe, Office Lounge, The Outpost, Palms Krystal Bar, Quay Street Brewery, Roche Bar, Rum Runnerz, and Thomas Edison Inn, Zebra Bar. Tickets $10.00 in advance, 15.00 Saturday. Available at the participating pubs: The Irish Rose, Blue Water Tourism & Convention Bureau, Chamber of Commerce. 1 - 7:30 p.m. Sponsored by Port Huron Rotary.

McMorran Arena, Port Huron- 7 p.m.- Irish Guinness Game-worn Jerseys auctioned off after the game. Also Lucky Lottery Ticket give-a-way, best GREEN hat contest, dress in GREEN .
