The Irish-American Club of St. Clair County is seeking Grand Marshal nominations for its annual St. Patrick's Parade. Nominees must be St. Clair County residents and of Irish descent, regardless of married name or surname.

Selection is made on a number of factors including community service, contributions to appreciation and understanding of Irish culture. Gender is not a consideration.

The Grand Marshal presides over the St. Paddy's Parade Party on March 12^th and the annual St. Patrick's Parade on March 13^h, 2010.

Nominations must be in writing and should be typewritten on a single sheet of paper and include the name, address and telephone number of the nominator. The nomination letter should also cite the reasons for nomination, especially regarding the above factors. The nominee must consent prior to being nominated.  Nominations may be submitted to any club officer or sent to The Irish-American Club, P.O Box 610095, Port Huron 48061.

The deadline for nominations is February 15^th 2010.
